At least there's one less centipede! Take care of yourself, if it keeps hurting with no relief it could be a cracked rib.
home depot breaks ground on nov 2nd, czm finally relented on the beach thing for williams and punch and i was told the army corp will go along with whatever the czm reccommends now it's up to the senate to move the road,i met chief benta today, very nice guy!!!! i never realized how small he is though,he's a little guy 5'9 maybe, one of the senators was on the radio today saying how dare cigna threaten to pull out just because the gov is 3 months behind on premiums, lol this is the idiot mindset we deal with at times here, lol how dare wapa shut my power off if i'm a month past due,joe and vicki are working like dogs remodling bongos, i take a look see whenever they are there and the place looks great joe told me that the last bar owner smashed out the original glass windows from the 1840's, i think thats what he said last night, unbelievable, dude should be lucky the building owner didn't have him busted for forging his signature to get his wapa turned back on,i see peter from greek is back on island saw him wandering barefoot downtown today, good to see him back
and another thing i don't understand how springel can go after businesses that did business with prosser and sue them for money recovery damages, seizing property and assets i understand but places like gallows bay hardware c'mon, how doesthat work and what about all the restaurants he and his people ate at, does this mean i can be sued for all the tips i got from them if he used his company credit card, of course i'm being sarcastic but you know what i mean, sometimes i think these lawyers go to far
and another thing, i had to listen to a local bitchpissmoanand complain today about the TIF financing for home depot as well as all the whining about diageo, wha wha wha alot of the locals don't realize that these companies will not come here unless they get deals, why on earth would they want to come here on their own to one of the most unfriendly business enviroments in the region, hello...... you have to spend money to make money, how many millions were wasted on refurbishing the danish school in f'sted so the gov can have an office west, money we will never see a return on by the way
I heard the reason the F'Sted clinic closed was because no one had done maintenance on the building or the AC for --ready for this--
10 YEARS. Mold was so bad they had to close it.
i'm watching the most beautiful movie right now called "the incredible mrs.ritchie" and no it's not about madonna, truly a great movie
Trade i don't understand why these old women have to die at the end of the movie, you know mrs plafrey, mrs ritchie ect..... doesn't seem right and i don't like it
i'm reading "hidden power" it's about presidental couples, i tell ya what reagan was as dumb as a fence post,i've never understood why the sperm donor called him the greatest president ever the man was stupid, his wife ran the country and i love the fact that he worshiped fdr,lol the dumbass worships fdr yet wants smaller government, who knew
i'm reading a book called "netherland" by joseph o'neill it's about the immigrant sub culture post 911 in manhattan and it's also about cricket, it's kind of a dialouge book,no action no adventure just a good story and so far no one has been set on fire in anyway,we watched some young white guy pick up that skanky skinny hooker with the foot and half tall turban and take her up to queen street by my old apt and then they came walking back about half an hour later, yuck hope he used a body condom with that one
a local guy with "connections" explained the governors race to me today, it's not at all about winning it's about getting paid off by the 1 and 2 most viable candidates to throw support behind them and withdrawing from the race and so people like hodge and weber are only in this to get paid off, it's probably going to be dejongh vs mapp/dornastorg, none of the other candidates are viable but they will get the cash to get their supporters to vote for the other 2, think my people and her fingernails, remember all of a sudden she dropped out, well it's because her husband got those illegal contracts, who knew
i feel bad for the guy that went to japan to get his kids back and ended up in jail, i'd like to see the UN come up with some type of global consistent child custody laws, too many people from different countries marrying each other and breeding and then one goes back to their mother country stealing the kids in the process because US laws don't apply, or simple stop the parent from leaving this country with the kids, just doesn't seem right
so i know this youngguy, he cooks downtown at one of the fine dining places,in his 20's and a crucian, he comes in for breakfast sometimes, well twice this week so far, so the other day i asked him how he survived his teenage/ early 20's here without dealing drugs and killing people and he said one word"family" and then he expounded on that, he said he had an uncle for a father figure and a grandmother, yes his mother was around but he had strong family support behind him forcing him to not be a crook, i dunno why is it so hard for other families here to do that same thing, i guess i'd like to see some stats on crucian crooks vs down island crooks, you know island of origin stuff
i read an entire book yesterday called "nobody move" by denis johnson, old time american crime novel like the ones from the 40's lots of sex and violence and the cover art on the book is great, the critics compare him to twain and whitman, it's only 200 pages so it took me like 3 hours to read, i'll leave it at the cafe if anyone wants to read it, lol they're calling him a true american artist
