JJ had a Dr. appt. at 4:45 today and we just got home. We waited for 2 hours in the waiting room and 1 hour in the exam room. I'm tired. Well at least it is done and he can start school.

just got home had a great night at work tonight,lots of old faces back on island after vacations all summer in the states, or getting their kids up there for college

Unbelievable! I just don't understand why some doctor's offices can get you in and out, relatively on time and others make you wait and wait. It has always surprised me because STX is so focused on manners and keeping a patient waiting 3 hours is not polite. I understand emergencies and things coming up, but some offices keep you waiting so routinely, that I have a hard time being patient.

We have a favorite dermatologist in San Juan. We have been going to him for years. We just plan half a day around a usual, routine skin exam. It's insane! When we first started going to him, he didn't take appointments. We would always tell them at the reception desk we had either a ferry or plane to catch (which was true), and he would hurry us through (still a long wait). If we didn't use that little ruse, it would be HOURS, no kidding. He now takes appointments, and we only have to wait HOURS.

I really cannot complain. School starts Monday on STX and everyone was trying to get their school physicals. I never wait until the last moment but we were delayed in the states and last year the school here wouldn't accept the stateside physical. The doctors were still there at 7:00 pm trying to fit everyone in. I have never had to wait that long before.

i have had an open door policy at my house, my entire life,if you show up needing a bed for a few days fine, for the most part it's worke dout, i've been stolen from a few times but thats to be expected, but the ones that steal are not the ones that you'd think would steal,lol it took the tim awhile to accept this but he goes along with it

according to the Avis one of the guys at Annaly shot a light fixture and it fell on him, that was the injury. Our noble police gave chase through the bush but lost them......

Went to Paradise cafe yesterday to deliver some romaine lettuce to a less than impressed cook. Tried to meet trw face to face but I guess he was on the street smoking a cig 😀
