I don't blame Jane for being upset that there is a rumor that Kendrick is closing - that could seriously hurt business. They have it listed FOR SALE - that doesn't mean it is closing. I have known many business owners on island that periodically list their business for sale just to "test the waters" and see what happens. I love Kendricks - it is my favorite place to eat on St. Croix I just wish I could afford to go there about 3 times a week 😉 .

With the reputation Kendricks has if they listed it with a realtor it might actually have a decent chance of being sold even in this market.

don't know if any of you recall the 2 brothers that came here a few months back from the caymans,they had been there for a couple of years,came here left for chicago and then to hawaii for some months and then off to backpack asia and europe for a few months,they are doing 21 countries,i know one of them worked at the bucc or maybe both of them after dennis closed the pelican, really nice guys,what a great adventure for them,they added me to their travel email list so i can live through others,lol,one day i will do a maris freighter cruise around the world,a promise to myself.

here you go ladies LONDON (AFP) – Scientists are looking for women willing to eat chocolate every day for a year -- all in the name of medical science.

Researchers at the University of East Anglia and a hospital in Norwich, eastern England are trying to find out whether chocolate can cut the risk of heart disease and need 40 women to step forward and help.

Most of the women will have to eat two bars of "super-strength chocolate specially formulated by Belgian chocolatiers" daily for one year and undergo several tests to measure how healthy their hearts are.

The others will have to eat regular chocolate as a placebo.

One possible catch, for chocolate fans spotting an opportunity: volunteers for the research should be menopausal but aged under 75 and have type two diabetes.

Study coordinator Peter Curtis said: "A successful outcome could be the first step in developing new ways to improve the lives of people at increased risk of heart disease."

some guy from india just called the house looking for the tim and i said he's at he work he said i called there and they said he's off so i said well then he's out drinking don't bother me he said does he have a cell phone i said no he's not a dealer and he doesn't have kids why would he have a cellphone,lol i love using that line on people because it confuses thehell out of them and they never know how to respond

Well I don't encourage stealing but you two are a couple and have a shared household and have household bills and expenses. I guess that the money should be used for those expenses rather than drugs and acohol. Anyone that continues to drink and do drugs leaving ones wallet exposed in plain view while passed out will run the risk of losing the money. I guess better to you than to a thief. 😉
