STX - Special Deals at Restaurants

I was hoping to get an anthology of which restaurants offer special deals on which nights of the week. I am always hearing this place has buy one get one half off Tuesdays or that place has free glass of wine with dinner Wednesdays, but can never remember when or where when I'm finally ready to go out. Any islanders want to chip in with the special restaurant nights that they know about?

Here, I'll start:

Tuesday - Brew Pub - buy one get one free drinks
Thursday - Brew Pub - movie night - $5 pitchers and $5 wings

Anyone else? 🙂

Full Moon isn't having Movie Night on Thursdays. I called last Thursday, they said they'd like to have it some time in the future but don't know when.

I was at Zizzlers last night and the waitress said that they just started running a new special on Wednesday nights where if you buy two entrees you get a free bottle of wine.

I am not sure what kind of wine, but it might be worth checking out.

How is Linchera by the way? I've seen the sign but have never been.

The Luncheria is one of my favorite restaurants, I think they have great Cruzan-Spanish food. I enjoy the quaint outdoor courtyard atmosphere (yes even the chickens) 🙂 There is always a mix of locals, and transplants.

OMG, Luncheria is awesome. They have a $4 taco plate as well at the STRONG $1.50 house margaritas. The atmosphere is pretty cool, too! I only wish I worked in town so I could get lunch there.

For a guy who lives in AZ, but I only eat Mexican food about 4 times a week, Luncheria is pretty darn good. Much better than I would expect, being so far away from Mexico.
I heard that the little stand by the car wash is good also. Will try it next month.

We got the cubano there, and it was good, although it couldn't compete with the cubanos at Quality Grocers. Holy moly, the Quality Cubano makes me believe in god.

I'd say Salud has great food, but I'm a tad biased.
Tuesday's wine deals is worth a visit. www.saludbistro.com

letahl, have you tried Victor Mencho's cubano? They used thick cut ham and it's massive. I had a Quality cubano yesterday and was very disappointed by the huge, dry bread and miniscule, dry meat.

Well I just got wheels and I'm still unfamiliar with landmarks...but I think it's next door to H & H tires um east of Sunny Isle? Don't take my advice, I'm still new here.

Maybe they can give you better dirs.

They also have great breakfast sandwiches. I'm not dissing the Quality cubano I've had many that were awesome, just a bit let down the other day.

Any one know the low down on the new restaurant at the palms? Like what type of food, prices any good? Do they do breakfast, lunch and dinner? And is Elizabeths still as good as it was at the palms?

Where is Cohiba?

I love the $15 steak special Saturday nights at Chenay Bay. Just don't go there thirsty. It's $7 for a rum and coke!

Any new/updated info or anyone know if these specials are still good? We are moving soon and would love to know more about what the locals do/hang out.
