Good afternoon to all, wish I were there now. My wife and I will be moving to stx in feb 07 and we have two questions today. Is there a podiatrist on the island. Secondly and most important, what about employment in the construction field. I am a cabinetmaker/carpenter fully trained (was Union) and will be looking for work in the very near future. Is there a future for me or will I have to look for other work. What do you guys think. Thanks for any input you may have.

The current Yellow Pages show 3 podiatrists on STX. I'm sending you a PM with a scanned image of the page.
If you're good and reliable, I suspect you will easily find work here as a cabinetmaker/carpenter. There seems to be good demand here in the construction field.

You need to call a company named The Pro Shop. Talk to John Hebert, owner. Aaron is the estimator, and field guy. They do exceptional cabinet/furniture work. I have used them on STJ. Best of luck!
