STX hospital
I have heard many horror stories and hardly any good stories about the care level at the hospital .
Went to the ER yesterday. Was transferred to the OR for surgery on my finger.
I had nothing but great care!!!!
The people in the ER were great!
The lady doing the blood test could use a personality, but did her job.
The people in the OR were great.
And the people in recovery were great!
I did not spend the night so I can't speak to that.
They even called today to see how I was doing!
Great service;)
I also have had only good treatment.
It is the WAIT for service that I have a problem with.
I've had good service at the hospital, unfortunately one of the ER nurses I know says it's on very shaky ground right now... sometimes pay is late, accreditation is in question... I hope it stays open!
Heer is another post of good experience at the ER at the hospital.

I guess I was lucky as my wait was not bad at all. Actually less than it would have been in AZ.
Had great service! Better than what I got in Cleveland where I had a complication. Appears as if the previous negative press was generated by a disgruntled malicious vascular surgeon who lost business after Hess closed and his salary fell.
God bless our only health care facility. I am amazed they can do such good work with the government cutting half their budget and all the people who show up getting care they don't pay for.
not all of the negative press for the hospital is by a disgruntled ex doctor. a lot of it is from actual patients. we have used the hospital twice. first time was great except the lack of beds, pillows and blankets. the second time not so good.
