Please let me know if anyone can help. I am looking for a home for a 10 year old male Australian shepherd named Casey. His owner is off island for medical care and we just can't keep him. We have a puppy and they just aren't meshing well. He's house trained and very sweet and well behaved. Please, if anyone can help, let me know. It's not fair to our puppy or to Casey to be separated all day.

im sorry this has happened to your friend. which island are you on? if you are on stx try the blue mutt in downtown christiansted. they have some wonderful and helpful people who work with getting animals homes and fixed. i have nothing but good to say about them.
if they cant help, maybe they know someone who can. sorry- i dont have a number but it is right near Tavern 1844

Hours: Mon - Fri 12 - 5 guaranteed, but usually open by 10. Sat 9-5. Open Thurs nites til 8 for art classes; more late hours coming soon! The Mutt is staffed by volunteers, so our hours are sometimes wacky ... Call 340-643-7203 if we are not open and you have an urgent need for dog treats!
