what are the sources for FREE flu shots on island? If not free, then reasonable cost? Thank you.

Free flu shots on STX at Charles Harwood Clinic by the Richmond Post Office. I got mine in early October. Just sign in at the front desk and head in, asking directions from whomever you meet. Everyone is very nice. The immunizations are done downstairs and you can take the elevator.
I read somewhere that F'sted Clinic was also doing free flu shots right now because of the recent epidemic. I don't think it is something that they usually do for free.

Call Charles Harwood Clinic for dates and times. Call 773-1311 and ask for Immunization. Otherwise you may have to visit 2-3 times instead of the customary 1-2 times before you get your shot. Normally, you have to show up by 8am and they only take the first 15 to 20 people. It takes 1 to 3 hours. Bring a book. If the nurse doesn't come to work that day, too bad for you. Bureaucracy at its best.
I've had much, much better service at the free flu shot clinics at Sunshine Mall and Plaza Extra, but those are usually in Sept or Oct.
