STX construction project - serious remodeling help needed......

I have a home in STX that is about 25 years old. It is all concrete with a concrete roof.

The place has basically been gutted and all that is left is the walls, cistern - etc. The home needs some serious work done such as new cabinets, vanities, toilets, showers, sinks, floors, appliances, screens, doors, fixtures, lighting, road grading, pool work, gardening (heavy removal of brush), and many other little things.

We want to get this home in to new condition but do not know where to start.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of project and / or have any advice on where to start or good references?

Thanks in advance.

Try Jim at Jet Development. He builds houses as well as doing remodeling. He did excellent work for us.

His cell is (340) 513-1504.

Hi Zack,
Are you planning to do the work yourself or hire it out. I don't know any contractors on the island as we have just moved here. My husband and I used to buy houses and rehab them back in the states. I can give you plenty of advice in that department. Such as get a couple of dumpsters if available on the island and remove all the debris. If there is a local junk yard you could call them to haul off vehicles on the property. We did everything ourselves. Maybe you could find some locals to give you advice on how things are done here. Good luck to you. PM me if you have any questions.
