And just as an FYI, the Roseway is gone for the season.
But the Parrothead is still around and we often make room for "just a few more" who want to spend an afternoon out at Buck. Yesterday we took 15, including Peter and a bunch of his friends from Pickled Greek. You never know who you might meet next.
Any suggestions where I can rent a sunfish or small catamaran at a reasonable price would be appreciated. I know the luxury hotels have them and assume it's a pricey proposition.
boats of any kind aren't something you find readily available for rent on STX. There are charter companies in STT and the BVI's that rent power boats and sailboats, but I don't know if they have the little types of boats available. One option on STX would be to take sailing lessons with Jones Maritime or the Yacht Club and maybe you can arrange through them to rent one of their trainer boats outside of the classes. Something like that may be possible on STT through sailing schools, also. it's worth a shot.
