STX access to the beach at Grapetree?
Tried to go to the beach at Grapetree on south shore, but no access path there any more. We used to park by the old tennis courts, and walk next to the house across, to the beach. There was always a pathway though the grass..but not now. Anyone know if it's just that no one's going there lately, or have the homeowners tried to discourage usage?
I've heard they have tried to stop people from walking through that way as it's in a private neighborhood and the late-night traffic was becoming an issue. It appears the only way down now is to park by Udall and take the walkway.
If im going to jack and isaacs, there is no way im parking at Udall.
I think there is one snowbird family at grapetree beach, but the rest get rented out. There was a path through the bush and one between the houses.
Leave your windows open and doors unlocked with nothing of value at jacks and issac's too, I had mine busted out when my car locked itself....tons of glass always there. If VIPD wanted to have some fun they could hide a few officers in the bush and beat down whomever is terrorizing vehicles out there. It's what I did if I were a cop who could beat up bad guys legally 🙂

Yep. This is also why we don't go to Boiler Bay (Split Cove) unless it's in season when more visitors are around. Just too...isolated. Too much broken glass. Can't see people coming down the hill. Lots of stuff.
My friend recently had both of his left tires stolen. I dont know if his windows were down.
