So my friend and I are moving to STT Aug. 31st and have both secured job's at Havana Blue, which is located at the Frenchman's Reef Marriott.
We were wondering where the nearest (safest?) area's are in close proximity to our new job location? We also need to figure in that we won't have a car for probably the first two months we are on the island....so our decision would have to include distance to Public Transportation.
Thanks again to everyone on the forums....everyone has been more than helpful so far! = )

You're not close to public transportation at the Reef. It's in Estate Bakkeroe & the closest areas would be Bellvue, Havensight & Frenchman's Bay unless you lived in town & could take the boat across the harbor late in the day & take a cab home at night.

Ask whoever hired you if they know of any apartments right by the Reef. That would solve your problem. Or is there any way you could save enough to go down & buy an island car?
