Looking for stores on STX that sell bath tubs besides Home Depot. I already looked and they don't have the size I need in STX or STT. Do I have any other options besides bringing something in from FL or PR?

Caribe Do-It Center sells toilets and bathroom vanities, etc. but I don't know about bathtubs - never noticed but was never looking for them either.

Tropical Plumbing sells them. Haven't been inside since they moved, but they used to even have a showroom upstairs, which very few customers even knew existed. They stocked some, and could always order other things.

I looked around for 24x24 travertine tile and it didn't exist on-island. I had to special order through Home Depot. Like so many other things here, I had to wait awhile, but they did come through for me.
If you ship it in yourself Customs will slam you with fees, Home depot covered the shipping costs with no added expense to me!
I would think they could do the same for a tub.

But wheres all that water going to come from?
Ha!

They will order but they told me 6-8w. How long did your order take to come in?

6-8 weeks sounds about right.
They will bring in the good stuff for you, but you do need to have a little patience.

You'll get it eventually. If you have a deadline you may have 2nd thoughts about ordering from HD. It can take much longer than they tell you. At least, that's the case here in STT.
You could possibly call MSI or Interiors by Design here in STT and see if they have what you want and put on boat to STX. Good Luck.

It taking longer than quoted is exactly one of the reasons I am afraid of special ordering from HD. Anyway I finally tracked down on in PR (MSI did not have it) and it will arrive next wk. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

Who'd you order from in PR?
Good to know these things for future reference.
Glad you were able to find what you were looking for.
You would have been waiting for weeks longer than quoted ordering from HD.
