Many times they are afraid the person may flee if they know authorities are looking for him/her.

There were 4 killings I've heard of now in past 24 hours. Shooting on waterfront. Double stabbing at Sapphire (coconut telegraph is saying it was their son) and another in Tutu.

And this is after Gov Mapp reestablished federal law enforcement cooperation.

Heard Waterfront killing was revenge. Also heard couple may have been murdered by a guest on the property.

Well federal law enforcement cooperation can't be everywhere to be fair. I havent been to Carnival before but I noticed a significant Puerto Rican law enforcement presence. Is that normal?

There was increased security this year at carnival. The feds are supposed to be in the background doing surveillance to help prevent crimes from my understanding.

It is sad no matter what the circumstances are when people kill another person. To have your child gunned down in front of you is heartbreaking. I can't imagine. Have you heard the same scuttle that the Sapphire murders were committed by the couple's son who flew down to kill them? That makes 12 killings now in just over 4 months. It is definitely a worrisome trend. I still, personally, feel safe but the amount of violence is disturbing.

Well I certainly have now. The coconut telegraph is such a wondrous source of wondrous speculation with so many frantically fighting to be the first person to pass on rumor. Having personally been the brunt of it which caused both I and those around me to suffer immeasurably for years, I've no patience with it to the point of utterly despising it. Don't perpetuate such mindless and unsubstantiated crap when you've not a clue how damaging it is. Within minutes, a fart on the North Side turns into a mushroom cloud of noxious gases on the South side.
