Please vote for the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center at www.votetosavelives.com. They are competing for a chance to win 100K and they are competing against a lot of big shelters on the mainland. Our islands struggle with a huge animal abandonement and animal abuse problem and we need all the support we can get to combat animal cruelty... PLEASE ! it only takes seconds to vote and we need you to vote everyday until the 15th. Every vote counts and shows that although we are small... we care! I'm hoping all you St. Thomas peeps will spread the word via your email and facebook accounts and help us move up the rankings. You do not have to live here to vote for us.

The Animal Welfare Ctr moved up from #15 yesterday to #12 today. Please, please vote! Tell all your friends and family. Twitter and facebook. Lets beat them all out and get that $$$$ for the Islands!

All the love is showing! THANKS to everyone who is voting daily and keeping us up in the ranks! We are 11th today... two points higher than yesterday and every single vote is counting! We are less than 50 points away from those on either side! It is so exciting to see our islands rally around our shelter and the worth cause of fighting ANIMAL CRUELTY and ABANDONEMENT! It's not about winning... although we will get our chance...YAY... it's about showing we are a community that cares and can rally around a good cause.
VOTE today and for the next 6 days... Vote and get everyone you know to take a second and vote too. Lets get this up into the top 10 and spread the news that our island ( crucian and STT/STJ) critters are loved all over the world!

HOT DOGGITY DOG! We are #9! Today, let's try to 'Each One, Reach One' and reach out to one person in your circle of friends and family and ask them to vote for the shelter.... If each of us reaches one more person we will increase our numbers fantastically. This is so great for out shelter... such awesome recognition... in my mind... it should be front page news! LOL....
