When I read the article in the Avis the other day about the beekeeper who lost her bees, it was the first time I realized we actually even had beekeepers on the island. Do they produce local honey? Is it sold here? I looked at Plaza and all I found was some that was bottled in P.R with honey from the states.

Channel 4 Innovative, one of the tourist two channels, shows the downtown market, a guy there who sells local honey and it even fives out the phone number....If Innovative ever fixes my cable and I get the lower channels back, I will be happy to get that number for you...I actually think its at the frenchtown fish market on the show...

There are quite a few on stx. I don't know of anywhere that they sell it retail in stores, but they do sell it. My son has a hive, and knows Wanda and some of the others, so i will try to get a number from him of someone you could call.
