Interesting proposal right in my old neighborhood. Sounds a bit ambitious for such bad economic times. Does anyone have insider information? Just down the road from the proposed Casino. These guys are already sellling property and talk of a late 2009 first move in. Sounds quick for island time.

I read where they are going "green" and now are proposing them as possible "low" income housing...............$400k - $700k is a bit high for most island residents. However I applaud the effort in the installation of solar & wind energy sources - WAPA FREE is the way to be! Well, you may not totally be off the grid, but they are trying to help with energy cost and less dependency on oil.

Does 10% built include the gate posts? Those are nearly done 🙂

The easy part on STX is building something. The tough part is getting all the permits. The developer of this project has spent over two years and many thousands of dollars trying to get the necessary permits. STX is not developer friendly so once he has the permits it will be all down hill.
