Yesterday i took the boat to francis bay with a Friend of mine from Miami and he has Sprint his phone worked and mine did not. I thought AT&T had more signal in the USVI than Sprint at least that is what allot of people tell me. Another thing the new Samsung Instinct from Sprint which my friend has is awesome too and it has allot of features that are better than the Iphone from Apple which i have. They called the phone the I-phone killer. I have seen allot of people in the VI with Sprint i would like to know how it works because the Sprint everything plan is better than AT&T iphone plan.

I have had Sprint here for several years and have yet to find a place here where I do not have decent reception.

I have been here a year now with my Sprint Roam America plan. Works fine. I am told the Sprint signal for STJ comes from Red Hook. So Sprint's coverage on STJ is on the west end of STJ. That's is why it worked for your friend in Francis Bay. Once out of Sprint's footprint, I am covered by their Roam America plan. Still not as good as AT&T here, but decent. The one thing missing when off Sprint's network is data coverage, leaving me with only voice coverage. Sprint works well in Soper's Hole and White Bay also.

Sprint doesn't work at all at my house in Frenchman's Bay.

My AT&T phone does not work either in frenchman's bay i went down there a couple of weeks ago to villa cote de sud to see some friends and family and nobody had signal. Is too hidden down there!!!!!!!!!

I'm on the hill & my AT&T works great.

There is lots of places on STX where no phone works. The north west is a black hole. It drives people that stay at Carambola crazy.
