Space-A Travel for Retired Military St. Croix
Greetings fellow military members and family,
I am not planning on taking any flights anytime soon but it would be nice to know that retired military have this option on the island.
I saw a post for this from January with no real information. So I am hoping someone has found out more information. I have only used space-a with terminals and flight schedules that you could check on facebook. All you do is sign up at the terminal and hope they have room. So anyone make any contacts? Have any numbers I could call(pm)? Or have used space-a on STX or any of the Virgin Islands? Another website said just go up and introduce yourself and talk to them about catching a ride. Has anyone tried that?
I was told to call the National Guard and they should have a schedule. Life got in they way and it hasn't happened yet!
Yeah sounds just like me, life. Okay well fingers crossed that someone has the inside info. That seems promising I guess wait until after labor day and I should try to call them. If I forget it is all up to you divinggirl lol. Perhaps it is just really simple, perhaps not.
Hello everyone I am retired military and I would love to sit on the beach in St Croix VI and relax. I believe because there is regular space A flights to and from Florida and Puerto Rico air base to the Virgin Islands air base. I suggest that you start your research in either of those two states. They might be able to assist you or point you the right direction. Here is a phone number you can try (787) 712-7754 it's an air base in Puerto Rico. or (340) 712-7751 air base in St Croix VI. I was able to speak with anyone yet.Good luck and please let us know what you find out.
Must be some secret lingo only certain people understand!
