What and where is this...?

Above The Cliff is a new BBQ restaurant on STX. It’s where Frank’s Lobster Reef was. It’s on the North Shore Road, in La Vallee, just west of Rowdy Joe’s. Look for the sign with flames out front.

I'm the one who gave Chris the name of the painter who did the Lobster Reef wall murals. The signs she painted for Above The Cliff are real attention getters I think.. I look forward to coming into the restaurant and seeing the big difference from when Frank had it. Hope to see tonight.

Thanks everyone of you. Somehow we made it through the first day. April was a he'll of a find,very knowledgeable in the areas,that I am not. Many , many things learned tonight. Bring on the tomorrow,I mean today.

We went last night to check out Above the Cliff. Had a nice crowd there.
We really liked what Chris has done to the place. Nice bar stools and tables. Love where the bar is now. Great views.
We had the ribs, it was the special. They were great. It came with 2 sides so we had hand cut fries and BBQ green beans, which were also good. The ribs with 2 sides was $23.
I think he will only be having a limited menu for now. Last night it was either a burger with fries or the ribs. He also had some apps available.
We will go back for more.

PLEASE post some pics of the new place. Would love to see what it looks like now. I don't live on the island so need to see the pics and everyone else would enjoy them too.

My wife & I were there Friday 8/20 for dinner & thought the food was very good. She had the potato skins and I had the rib dinner with hand cut fries and cole slaw. Everything was done perfectly. The other thing that really impressed us was the new layout of the eating areas, the bar setup ,and the impeccably neat, clean and modern looking kitchen . What Chris has done with this restaurant is a total makeover and it was done the right way.
