Good day!
I am coming next week for a short recon. Please, where are the locations of: block yards, building supply/ lumber yard, and are metal louvered windows available there. Are "roto molded vats used there? I am coming from Belize and we use this type vat a great deal.
Is there a bakery in C'sted, and where are the best rice and beans, stew chicken, or peas and rice there I think.
Cheers

I like Singh's for all things food in C'sted and there is a bakery across the street. It is on the main drag, a block out from Times Square.

Harveys and Kims downtown (c'sted) are my choice for best local food. Villa Morales for the west end.

There is a good bakery on Centerline Road about mid island.
There is a lumber yard in Gallows Bay, next to the hardware store.
Check with John at Kokomo's for the louvered windows. He's at 5 corners.

good evening!
thank you all for the info. Our time will be limited this visit so names and locales are much appreciated. I would rather not bring my stove and pot this visit, but we do prefer home food. It's funny, living on an island and visiting an island and looking for chicken. Too long island life, if there is such a thing. Please continue with insights.
Cheers

the big rubberized plastic trash containers in the states, They also make many other things the same way.
They have a mold which spins. Then they inject the plastic material into the mold. the centrifugal force pushes the material out into the mold, leaving the center open.

Good morning,
"roto-m0-rats' after three times are large plastic(food grade polyeth.) lined I think cisterns. My apologies, we refer to cisterns as vats. These come in many sizes, 150gal. to 3000gal. I have seen them in the states at farm supp[y stores. Please where to find concrete block, cement, snd etc. I just want to have a plan for places to visit without wife. You know, guy toy stores, sand boxs.
Cheers

I have heard them called "water buffaloes" here and they are available. I've seen them at quite a few properties where people needed a larger cistern or a temporary water source. Some also use them for holding gray water. I think the ones I've seen are around 300-500 gallons or so in capacity.
