The Gross Receipts Tax is 5% each time it is applied.
Excise tax on most goods are 3.15% (or close to that) and tax on foreign items are up to 6%. These are also added into the marked price of goods sold.

I'd agree with that. I just wanted to provide more evidence that the "there's no crime here" apologists are full of it.

I've never seen one comment on this or any other forum from anyone claiming that "there's no crime here" nor have I ever heard anyone say so personally.
i actually agree with monogram on his point about relationships.
my added opinion, if you have a solid relationship in the states you should have a solid relationship here-though i do know of one person who is now divorced.-their relationship was not that good to begin with

Exactly! I cannot for the life of me understand how someone can say that the island CAUSED them to break up, as if temptations are greater here than in the states (where it is presumably much easier to get away with cheating due to the size).
