hi guys

i've relocated here (part time, i work overseas month on/ month off) a few months ago. any suggestions on connecting with the wider social scene here? i am eagerly awaiting the point at which things evolve beyond heading down to the bars each night. not that i have anything against that - but it is a younger crowd, college-type atmosphere, which is alright occasionally, but a fesh perspective would be welcome.

STT - guess that would help!!!!

i live east end, and tend to hang out around red hook - but would really like to expand my circle, both socially and geographically

There's a benefit for charity this Sunday, Dec 12th at Hull Bay. 3pm- until.

It's the 3rd annual Pirate Radio and Hull Bay Hideaway Acoustic Christmas.
There will be several bands (4, I believe), and admission is FREE!

All they ask is that you bring a wrapped toy for a boy or girl, age 1-18, and mark on the package age and gender. The toys are collected there and donated to St.Thomas childrens' charities.

This is a nice, low-key way to meet people, and do something good for others.

Best,

LR
