He certainly had a good run for the money for many years - all at the expense of others. So many of his victims, although not wearing prison garb and eating peanut butter on stale bread (!) are likewise sick and broke but hopefully not as lonely as he.

alas, it went to subscription land.
Let's try the Washington Post version:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/stanford-told-lie-after-lie-to-investors-us-prosecutor-says/2012/01/25/gIQAcA8FQQ_story.html

ahhhh....the good old days of multiple private jets on the Rohlsen tarmac.....my favorte paragraphs:

Stanford also “waved his magic wand” to increase the value of an unimproved island property from $63 million to $3 billion during the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, according to the prosecutor.

The financier is accused of bribing his now-dead auditor and an Antiguan banking regulator who received cash, National Football League Super Bowl championship tickets and use of Stanford’s private jets.

With any luck, Sanford's illness will be long and painful, just like the fallout from his egregious misdeeds will be for his victims.

They left out before and after pics of the Kaiser Estate on Recovery Hill.....4 beautiful homes, tennis courts, gardens....all gone...even the slabs.

"He had to change prisons in late 2009, after a jail fight left him severely injured."
Looks like they whooped him pretty good!

I wonder what happens to the Kaiser Property that he destroyed?

It will eventually be auctioned off as part of his personal bankruptcy asset sale.
Stanford Eagle business assets have already been auctioned off.

The tragedy of the destruction of the Kaiser Estates 3 beautiful houses, tennis courts, caretakers house, with even the slabs removed....what kind of a jackass would do such a thing?
