Sheet Sets Shipped to VI
Hello.
I found some posts where people suggested buying sheets on ebay and others who said to buy these items while in the States. I will not be in the States for a bit and I am hesitant with EBay only because I know sometimes items can take a while to arrive (by the time pay pal clears, etc). Does anyone have any suggestions? I am looking for nice sheets, egyptian cotton, but not at ridiculous prices. It's too bad Bed, Bath, and Beyond does not ship here because KMarts sheets just do not cut it!
Thanks.
Liz,
"The Company Store" has a online store and they ship to the USVI with standard shipping via USPS.. The quality is excellent.
Crate & Barrel is having a great sale on beautiful sheets and other items and will ship here as well.
Happy shopping!
I order a lot from QVC, including sheets. Have been very happy. They ship "off shore non-priority", and it takes about a week to 10 days, unless you have a box at the Richmond post office. Then.....it's whenever they get around to putting the yellow slip in your box. (If they EVER get around to it.)
I have had such issues with the PO, I've starting having packages sent to Mail Boxes, Etc. It's $5.00 per box.
Locally, you might try Sampson House or Brass Key. Haven't bought sheets there, but they look like good quality. Oh, I am on St. Croix. If you are on St. Thomas, there is a place across the parking lot from Marina Market. Can't remember the name....something...Home? Pricey but nice.
A shopping trip to San Juan isn't a bad idea either!
I bought a bunch from Macy's recently. Sometimes they have great sales on high thread count sets.
JC Penny will ship almost anything they sell to the VI, if it is sized to go USPS--even lamps, bedpreads, etc. Linens and Things also will ship to the VI via priority mail.
Land's End has nice sheets.
Try out the local stores before you order online. Its not like sheets are hard to find here. You can find nice ones or cheap ones but rarely do the two meet. 😉 Which island are you on? Stores like samson house on stx always have high thread count sheets.
Yeah, I have lived here for four years... I am tired of Martha Stewart's over priced 150 thread count sheets. Unfortunately, anything else you find on St. Thomas that is of good quality can be purchased much cheaper online. Thanks for everyone's help!
