Seventh Generation Prods.-- Cost u Less has them!
Just a note for those of you who might be interested.
Ok.....and now what is a prods.?
product. In this case, garbage bags, cleaning solution, laundry detergent (including for HE), etc.
Ahhh so thats a brand name...gotcha. I'd never heard of them, thanks.
Shorthand--they produce environmentally low-impact household goods.
" laundry detergent (including for HE)"
Okay, Onika...What is HE?
Ok, you ladies are making me feel like one of those acronym freaks!!!
HE--High Efficiency. This is what they call the front-loading washing machines.
Onika: You are just MUCH more knowledgable in this area than I am. I still take the clothes down to the river! 😉
Heck, you are more knowledgable in most areas.
River ? Where's the river ???? 🙂
The one by the Humane Society near the bridge to nowhere? 😛
EE, how wrong you are. If not for Google I would be lost down by the river at the bride to nowhere.
Apparently I'm not clever enough to have avoided the troll in a previous email. Doh!
Anyway, do you smell lunch? Delly Deck...?
When is Beni Iguana's opening in Havensight? Much prefer a little sushi!! 😉
OOOOHH! You're on. I'll look in to it.
Onika, and others,
I have a hugh mango tree in my yard. Our yard-man told me today not to eat the mangos (wouldn't hurt me, just not good), because the people who lived there prior to us did lots of laundry, and the detergent had done harm to the tree. He suggested that if we cut down on the amount of gray (detergent) water going into the ground, the quality of fruit would improve. I asked his opinion of eco-friendly detergents, and he agreed that would help. He also pointed out areas in the yard where the grass was almost non-existent, due to detergent water.
I trust his opinion and will be buying eco-friendly products.
Juanita, that is actually one of the reasons why we switched. Our grey water goes to our tampocho (a little banana) and papaya trees and we enjoy eating them.
