Headline: POTABLE WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION IN HAVENSIGHT AREA FRIDAY EVENING

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority announces a water service interruption for the St. Thomas Havensight area on Friday, May 20, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Customers from the Port of Sale to Frenchman’s Cove, including Havensight, Upper Havensight, Bakkero, and Frenchman’s Reef, will experience water service interruption while crews replace two defective valves at the entrance to the West Indian Company (WICO) and the Havensight Pump Station. Customers are urged to store adequate water for use during the scheduled service interruption.

Headline: ELECTRICAL SERVICE INTERRUPTION FRIDAY ON PORTION OF FEEDER 7A

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority has scheduled an electrical service interruption Friday, May 20, for small portion of St. Thomas Feeder 7A. From 9 a.m. to 12 noon, approximately 122 customers in the Hull Bay area, will be affected while crews transfer primary lines from an old pole to a newly planted pole in Estate St. Peter.

The work to transfer this equipment to new poles is necessary to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists who traverse the area.
