Security Cameras are great!!

Wow...such a bunch of brazen idiots! They must feel pretty secure that their VIPD connection will not look for them! Can one forward a photo like this to Crime Stoppers? Hell, I could use the extra dollars for a reward if no one else has forwarded this...

I did forward this link to one of our good cops...hopefully they'll use it to either prosecute the perpetrators...or corner the bad cops who wouldn't normally follow through on this...

Glad you have a security camera. Seems like it was an effective deterrent. Perhaps I should get one. Where did you get your system?

I think if these photos were posted at various locations these 2 might figure out that they are no longer "under the radar" If they were brought in for questioning and fingerprinted, maybe some of these break-ins could be solved.

Just to clarify...this did not happen to me, someone sent it to me. I am just passing it everywhere because although they did not commit a crime here, maybe tresspassing...I am sure they are involved in others...

And speaking of vandalism (in the other thread), why don't we have these in the schools?

It seems this morning people are writing in that they know names of these individuals.

if no crime commited i would still see about trespassing. that sure occurred. scares the heck out of me. would like to know more about this. i am alone for now since husband is off island. this scares me. we have fake cameras but now i think i want real ones.
did they take anything from outside? did police dust for prints? ( yell right)

if the names are known can they be posted.? thinking about putting a sign at the end of my driveway saying.....so and so (what ever the names are) STAY AWAY!!!! yes this means YOU:X

I would be more careful DixieChick if I were you. You just let everyone know that your husband is gone and the cameras are fake. Do you know everyone who looks in on this board? We see all of the time where people new to the board say they have been "lurking for sometime".

Going under the name DixieChick may protect your ID, but I wouldn't take the chance. If I remember correctly before you have stated where you live, not the actual address, but condo complex.

I have met many people who post on this board, some who use a different sign-on name, and I looking forward to meeting many more when we are on island. It is a small island.

My first thought was hey these guys are definitely up to no good but they look fairly harmless. Then I saw the 5th picture and I'm pretty sure the guy in tne sandals is carrying. I really need to get my act in order and find out what it takes to legally keep a gun in the home here (not carry it around just to have one for protection.)

It would be cool if the people that owned this house had something rigged that would set off a recording of gun shots or firecrackers going off. Hmmm, something to think about.

What about "peeping tom" charge both are looking in windows and trespassing.

Don't count on too much help from VIPD. My car was parked in front of a security camera here at the hotel. We got tape of a guy going into my car and helping himself to several items. We had video from three different angles. He was also stupid enough to fill out an application for a job. We gave the police a DVD of the videos, his name, address, and phone number. The police called him by name as soon as they saw the video. It took over two months for them to arrest him. I don't think they would have at all except he had a warrant from NY for violating parole. Just saying no matter how much info you give them, sometimes VIPD is not very responsive.

try amazon .com for good deal on security cameras. i got a set of 4 and monitor for around 250 .

good to go don,t get a gun and leave it at home they well break in when your gone and steal it your just giving them another gun

if your going to get one get a concealed weapon permits and keep it with you at all times .
