Satellite TV
We are moving to STT and I am trying to find out information about television options. Is it possible to get satellite TV? If so, what company offers service?
Can you get the NFL package in STT? If no, do the hotels or sports bars braodcast NFL games?
Thanks,
Michael
Yes, I have DISH Network.
The only quirk is, if you only have one dish (I have the 48" one), you can only get the channels on the 119 satellite. In order to get all the channels from both satellites, you need to have a 72" dish AND a 48" dish.
Call Cal at Satellite Entertainment Services for info. www.1800dish.com
I also have DishNetwork satellite TV. The sports packages are only available on island if you have two dishes (for both satellite 119 & 110). Getting 2 dishes is expensive.
I understand that only Direct TV carries the football package. Have not heard about the second dish theory.

Cal Humrich at SES is the DISH person here on STT as others have pointed out and his service is awesome (as is Dish Network's too.)
The basic 48" dish costs about $600 and the 6' dish is about $1150.
Call Cal and he will explain all the ins and outs.
DirecTV is only available on the Latin America package out of Puerto Rico. Guess you could watch football in Spanish.
And you get that on your DishNetwork? You said it needed a second dish, but if it is only available on DirecTV how does DishNetwork offer it? I know some have gotten friends in PR to sign them up and then bring the receivers over here, but I have never seen one.
