All:

What do you do to prevent rust in the Cariibbean? I’m building a Land Rover Defender to bring to STT. I’ve heard of Waxoyl & Line-X. Any experience?

Thanks,

Paul

Late model cars and trucks seem to be well rustproofed from the factory. For everything else, stainless steel helps.

I've lived here 15 years and never had any issues with rust on vehicles.

The body panels are. Not ythe bulkhead or chassis. I plan to galvanize, but some parts can’t be galvanized, such as axles, bumpers tec.

When Porsche transports a car across an ocean they spray the chassis, underside, suspension, etc. with cosmoline. And 30 years later the stuff will still be there.
