Hi,
I am arriving in St Thomas on Tuesday, Dec 18, 2007. I am looking for a roomate or small studio in a house. I am planning to work in a hotel, and buy just a beater car to get me around the island. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Rebecca,
I just got back from a pre-move visit, I won't be arriving until the beginning of Jan. I had a basic tour of the island and got my hands on two local papers, the daily news and the island trader. Both had a large selection of apartments, houses, condos, all ranging from 700 to 3000+, the same for vehicles, anywhere from 500 to several thousands, just remember, you get what you pay for.
The big thing with housing decisions is, furnished or non, which part of the island and almost all wanted 1st, last and security. I will be making one more relocation trip before I start my job, let me know if there is anything else I can do. I had lunch at paradise point and talking to some of the waitress waiter staff, they mentioned people leaving/arriving everyday, just some networking and you'll find something quickly.
