WTF,? They drop charges against the scumbag who robbed Quality and aimed a gun at officers so he can go off island and get medical treatment? In other words he is related to someone.
You sure about dropping the charges? They don't need to drop them to move him for treatment...
A suspect must be advised of rights within 48 hours of arrest.
Suspect is heavily sedated (pain killers) and cannot comprehend the charges or reading.
Withdraw the charges, wait until he is cognizant of himself and his situation, then re-file
the charges, arrest him and read him the rights.
Relying on talk radio for your 'news' is not a good idea.

Ditto. They withdrew the charges "without prejudice," so the AG is able to refile the charges.

There is no jurisdiction under the US flag which doesn't conduct an investigation when a police officer discharges his weapon. SOP.
