Good day!

I am trying to buy an appliance online but everywhere I go they will not ship here. Does anyone have a list of the retailers that will?

Thanks! Anne

A large or small appliance? Like, a refrigerator, or a toaster oven...? :S

Amazon ships lots of stuff here. I've bought a couple of small appliances on that site. Expect to pay a bit more for shipping, but it's not too bad.

A tip is that Amazon has lots of resellers - if you find an item you like and they say they can't ship it here, find it with another reseller - some will, some won't. You just have to try several until you find one that will.

Cool. Local is always better/easier.

I don't know if you have had a roomba before geekgrl, but when I had one it was just - eh. I've found an electrolux stick vacuum that is just amazing on tile floors here - but I did have to pay to get it here on VI cargo. But it was worth every penny. 😎

I bought a roomba vacuum last summer on Amazon and it shipped here USPS. Remarkably fast, in fact. It only took 3 days. Maybe it wOnt ship to a PO box? I have an "address" (side of the road mailbox) that doesn't register as a PO box and so lots more retailers will ship to me.

I have the first generation roomba and it's about to die. I have two german shepherds and could not live without it, i run it every day in every room and makes life manageable. I'm leaning towards the new Neato bot tho, the reviews are excellent.

I'll try Amazon with my husband's work address...maybe it is the PO Box. I can't imagine why retailers would restrict sales based on a PO Box tho, how could it affect them?

Well for me that's one of the few things that would be worth putting on the cargo boat if need be. Nothing beats a top notch cleaning tool! 🙂

Gosh, I'm like Martha Stewart, or something.

ETA: We have a PMB and have no issues receiving packages from Amazon. It's at a shipping store though, not the post office.

geekgrl, I have 4 or 5 roombas that I will sell you. We had 3 rotties when we moved here and you are right, can't live without them. My rotties have all passed on and the roombas are packed in a box. I will get them out and see if they are clean and in good condition. We also have the sensors that keep them in one room or in one area. I used to have our little robots going all the time.

Let me know if you want to sell a Roomba also - I was just looking at them on line but too $$$ for me 🙁
My house is too small to justify that kind of money but with 2 Australian Shepherds I find the equivalent to a small puppy in hair daily 🙂

geekgirl, it depends on the item as to how it can be shipped from retailers, which means if it has to go fed ex ups or dhl, they can not ship to a p o box. obviously usps can ship to a po box. usps does have restrictions on what it can ship also.

We have cocker spaniel, crucian cat and a macaw, would a roomba work better than stick vacuum?
