I've been trying to set up a time to meet with real estate agents via email. I have emailed every single realtor that I can find to set up appointments for July 16th-23rd while we're in town doing our pre-move but have yet to receive a response. 🙁 I even included our price range, what we're looking for and when we'll be ready to buy.

Is it normal for realtors to not reply to emails like an off islander sending in resumes? We've got out tickets and our hotel booked and the dates are firm. I want to do some house hunting!

I'm getting so excited! I can't wait to take my daughter swimming in the ocean for the first time.

P.S. If there are any realtors that read this board, feel free to email me!

In all fairness, most of STT seems not to be as web/internet/email savvy as businesses on the mainland. Nothing personal I'm sure.
That said, I'm sure you can have the same goals accomplished just by calling an agent when you arrive.
For your needs I would recommend April Newland, 340-774-8888 ( http://www.aprilnewland.com/), she has the scoop on numerous properties in your previously stated price range and comes highly recommended.

Thank you very much! I waited a few weeks before posting because I figured that they may take a bit longer. I only emailed the realtors that had email address listed and specifically stated that they could be contacted by email.

I didn't know how much notice was required to get an appointment so I didn't want to it so last minute. Thanks for the heads up and I'll check April out.

I did the same as you prior to moving here - emailed lots of agents. The only one who responded was Marsha Maynes with Remax. She sent us lots of info prior to our visit, then had many houses to show us when we arrived. We ended up buying on that trip. Try her or another one is Shane Foster with Foster Real Estate.

And I would recommend Mucki Wesley at Curreri and Company.

Trouble is, it seems to me, they are so bogged down with the EDCs and so many people moving here now, it' s difficult!
