Respiratory Therapist
Is there anyone out there working in the USVI as a Respiratory Therapist? I would really like information on working and living there permanently , esp on St. Croix, but I keep hearing negative things about the stability of the hospital there. Does anyone have any scoop on that? I am also working on my nursing degree. Should I wait until I have that or is there opportunity for a smart hard working RRT there? I would be grateful for some real information. Thanks so much from a fellow Lungbuttergitterouter from Ohio.
I can't help you with St Croix, but if you look at http://www.rlshospital.org/Home.aspx, you can find out about opportunities at SRMC on St Thomas. Nice bunch RTs!:-)
Thanks so much. I plan on visiting both islands and hospitals this summer.

I still need feedback. If anyone knows any RRT's, please have them contact me.

Thank you so much for the link. Things don't look too goof for me do they?
As I said, you need to contact SRMC. If you want the name of the director of RT,I will send it to you via PM.

Thanks to everyone for the help. Hope to be a productive USVI citizen soon.
