requirements for opening nursing school stx
hi all , any body know if there is any private nursing schools in stx ?, and if there is'nt what would it take to open one on island?. and i mean all aspects of nursing.thanks to all.by the way i'm travelling now whenever i get home in about 6 weeks i'll be ready for my grand move if all goes well, and god spare life.
I'm sorry, but I don't think I understand the question. UVI has a nursing program on both STT and STX that do their clinicals at the hospitals on each island.
I don't see how one could open up a stand-alone nursing school. Wouldn't it need to be accredited by somebody and need someplace to practice? I'm not sure that there are enough people interested in nursing to support two schools on either island, even if you could get up and running.
My maybe I'm not reading the posting correctly.
thanks linda, you did read the post right ,i.m a part of this school which is here on the main land and they wanted to know if the possibilites could exists for something like that in stx, the interns would do their internship at the hospital there. the curriculum would be the same as the vi college and it would cost less.
How would they know that it would cost less?
I went to the website for the university. I seems that tuition and fees for a resident for a year is about $3800.00 without living on campus and without books.
You mean, you can do a licensing program for less?
Just curious and maybe my USVI math is way off.
Barbie: Because the hospitals andd UVI are both part of the territorial government, you are going to have a very tough time. Competition isn't really in the government vocabulary.
thanks all, that's why the school asks me to post the info that we could get some good infos on the subject. y'all the best thanks once again.
