Anyone know what companies offer renter's insurance down here? The usual suspects (Geico, Statefarm, Nationwide, etc.) all tell me they don't operate in the USVI.

Thanks!

This may not apply to you, but if you own a home on the mainland and have homeowner's insurance, it will cover whatever stuff you have in a rented property in the VI. At least that's what my State Farm agent told me. As far as getting just renter's insurance... sorry, I can't help you with that one, but I'm sure someone else can.

Roadrunner -- wish that applied to me, but, alas!

Sauceress -- I'll look into that, thanks! I was hoping to find a national provider who also operated down here because I suspect it would be significantly cheaper, but I'll check that out.
