Renter's insurance.
Could someone recommend a good insurance agent on STJ or STT for renter's insurance. Are there any offices on STJ? Thanks!
If you qualify for USAA (must be active military, Veteran, or close relative), you really can't beat their prices. I have $20,000 of coverage, which includes hurricanes, and it's only $135/year....www.usaa.com. Their rates for auto coverage are also great (I pay $185/year for basic coverage for my '76 Harley and my '01 Chevy Malibu, and full coverage on my '03 Harley...can't beat that!!)

Your family member must have USAA first. It works down, not up, ie; if your dad has it, you can get it. If your son has it, you can't get it. Don't know about siblings.
We talked my father-in-law into getting it, saved him a lot of money, and then we were able to get it. Saved us around $2400 a year on our house in AZ and the two cars there, and the two cars in STX. Also got much better coverage especially ion STX. Was able to get full coverage on my vintage 1985 Bronco. Insurance in STX would NOT give me anything other than liability since it was older, no matter that I had appraisals stating it's value.
Will check on renters insurance in STX, I still have AAPR. USAA will not give home owners insurance in USVI.
Theodore Tunick & Co. 778-7000 St Thomas and 775-7001 St John. Dealt with them for years and never have had a problem at all.
Thanks! I'll call them! We do not qualify for USAA but it sounds great!
