*Hi, I am interested in possibly moving to the V.I. (not sure which one yet) from Charlotte, NC in the USA. I want to buy a condo with at least 2bedrooms. Could you give me some info on where to look at condos for sale without having to buy a book? Thanks!

Hello Christie,

There are many real estate agents on each island, so you may want to narrow it down to one island. Prices of properties vary quite a bit island to island. I am on STT and to start you off, you can go to www.hangyourhammock.com - Carol is nice to work with, but I believe only works on STT. Use a search engine online, but put in the name of one island to narrow your search. Rochelle at Ellick Real Estate is nice to work with as well, but her website is currently under construction (www.usvirealestate.net). You really want to be on island to see them before considering - so I don't know if this helps you or not. Good luck on your search! 😉

Do an MLS search. (multiple listing service)

You can find them on the web

virginislandsmls.com ....is one easy to remember
follow the directions to a realtors page and their mls service

When buying the condo keep in mind the various cost of things down here that add to your expenses. We bought a house but we found the electric was double what we paid back in Chicago and of course the insurance was astronomical our monthly here is what our annual was at home.
