I'm going to be relocating to ST Thomas around the 15th of May and would like some info on apartments?
Is it hard to find one and what is the average cost of a one bedroon?

Check out the local newspapers once you're there and until then you could order a relocation kit which comes with a copy of one (I forget which publication) or check out the website: www.virginislandsdailynews.com
I've been told however that the printed version has much more up to date listings, but its a start. Good Luck!

Hello Danielle,
Pick up the Island Trader (comes out on Thursdays) and the Daily News (its daily) and they both have classifieds. You should find an apartment; just call some listings and go check them out and shop around a bit and look for something you like in your price range. As far as prices for a one bedroom $550-$850 would be the average range (the price reflects building, view, location, utilities, furnishings, area...) but they can go up to $1000+ depending on facilities.
