Where can you recycle in STT?

Hi Deb,
From what I understand, trash pickup is free - so no one bothers to recycle. They might do some recycling at the dump. Of all places, I would love to see more things recycled. If anyone knows of other recycling - let us know.

Trash "drop off" is free. There are public dumpsters located throughout the Island. I've also noticed that some of these dumpsters are where people will drop off unwanted items (that my not be totally trash) and other people will collect them. Teresa, Larry has been trying to find recycling on the Island for a year now and hasn't found anything.

There is no recycling on STX.

I have been told. That the cost to ship, glass, and cans back to the states to a recycling center, is to high and would not be profitable.
