Recipe for Seasoned Rice

the thing about seasoned rice is, that there can be a recipe, but there really is no ONE recipe. plus, anyone who is a cook of such a 'down-home' favorite is likely to do it from sight and feel. this much rice, that much water, chop this or that, a pinch of the other... you certainly know when you taste it...!

if you can remember where you ate the rice, perhaps there is someone else who has also eaten it, who can give you an idea of how it was put together.

Good advice. I suppose a well placed question at the AG fair will produce a worthy result too.

All my other regional rice recipes come out well, and indeed I know them by feel, as you say. I've asked others, but apparently not the right others. Curiously, even the Great and Powerful Google comes up short with all the searches I can devise to put to it.
