Thanks for the click-n-ship / PDF idea. That would work really well for us with the Priority mail. I only wish they would do that with parcel post, too!

Two packages, mailed from Nevada, postmarked 5/27, arrived today. I'm still waiting on two packages sent Priority Mail from California in early February.

Here's an update for future movers . . .

Our Priority Mail boxes came under 4 days

Our Parcel Post Boxes arrived in 2 weeks, 2 days

Now we have to start unpacking and see what made it and what is broken . . .

Ours arrived here on STX from Ohio in about 4 days, and in pretty good shape, only one broken thing which was poorly packed (by me). We're already going "why in the world did we think we'd need that?"

We took a box at "Mail Boxes Etc" on 70 near Sunny Isle, though it will be impossible to find if you don't know exactly where it is because they have no sign out front. For future travelers: it's precisely on the NW corner of 70 and 79 right at the end of the little strip mall.

Niel, you need to start working on your landmarks. No one uses numbers. Although I guess it will be good for newcomers. 😉 Better to say its in the strip mall with Johnny Mangos and Vinnies, in front of Kmart Appliance and WAPA.

Landmarks for sure, Betty.
But for someone trying to approximate it on a map, landmarks don't help. You can't see the wapa building on a map or from 70 for example. It's just kind of hilarious that a business like MB&E doesn't have a sign, or any semblance of "how to find us" in their advertising. St. Croix is ripe for some smart entrepreneur who can produce an accurate map with businesses listed on it.

It's interesting that this same sort of "lack of identification" extends to other things....
I was on the UVI campus today and the buildings are unmarked as to what they house. It's like some quaint puzzle.

Hey, I use numbers! Of course that's because I use my Garmin Nuvi from time to time (which does have roads and many points of interest including shopping centers, grocery stores, etc. mapped.)

Did you need to do anything special to your Nuvi? We took ours down the last time and it did not work . . I forget what the problem was though. It works fine at home in Baltimore.
