Random hair question

What island, what kind of hair?

Sorry, I always forget to add which island. We're on STX and I have long, straight, brown hair. I just need someone that can give me a good reliable cut. Thanks.

We're moving to St. Thomas Monday - needless to say I'm panicking about 500 different things, but hair is near the top of the list (you'd know why if you saw it - short, thin, and straight). Thank you so much for your help, and for all of the great info on this board - it's been a lifeline.

St. Thomas: Julie at Just Cuts does a great job on men & women and if you are Black then Felicia at the same salon is good.
You can also ask around about Jan Michaels (their at Frenchman's Reef). Also I had heard about Hairspray Salon several months ago; its downtown. And there is a salon at Ritz Carlton that is good.

On St. Croix I've heard good things about Head Quarters. It doesn't seem any of our St. Croix residents have gotten hair cuts because the last couple times this question was asked no suggestions were made :). Crucians - where do you go for a hair cut/style??

Who maintains locs in stx? Do most people do themselves?

My wife gets her hair cut by a lady who works at the spa at the Buccaneer. I don't know her name, but I'm sure the people at the spa can connect you up with her. Me, I go to Mon's in C-sted. I give him ten bucks and he whacks it all off.

The people at Headquarters are great, if Linda’s taking appointments try her if not Dave’s good too. They are good and affordable (if there’s such a thing on the island) plus they’re just good people.

On St. Thomas, Theresa at Just Cuts is great. It is in Buccaneer Mall.

I just got my hair cut and colored by Crystal at Paradise something - go to St. Tropez on King Street in Frederiksted - go into the courtyard - turn left you'll see it. She did a great job and it was only $50.
