some good long drenching downpours already on Crown Mt. STT -Thanks cause my legs were giving out from doing the rain dancing - the water vapor loops look like STX will be getting plenty too - the system spreads out all the way to the Windward Islands in this NASA link:

Yes! Rain, glorious rain!
It's so brown and dry here on the Northside of STT.
Haven't ever seen it this brown since I moved to this location 13 years ago. Even the Elephant Ear vines on the trees have been shriveling up due to our lengthy lack of rain.

Keep those knees healthy and keep on dancing, Exit Zero.
This is a lovely little system visiting us but it looks like it'll move on quickly and there's dry air behind this system.
Hope St. John is getting this rain, too!
We all need it!:@)

We're getting a very little bit of rain here in STX south shore, a bit more up north, and of course WAPA's down for the last two hours.

Hope we all get a good downpour.

Ahhh! WAPA! Is it surprising?

We have got .15" here so far. Better come down tonight because it's missing Lerkenlund north and south

No worries, green up where I am and plenty of healthy, growing elephant ears to donate ...

That may be so in your immediate area which isn't really far from mine but the giant ones on the trees on my lower yard are not looking good at all. Never seen it as bad. I do mean shriveling on the vine, literally.

This tropical wave was almost as big a dud as Gonzalo last year. Maybe next week we will get rain.

Grateful for the little we got. Want more!
A couple day deluge would be nice, except for having to drive in it.
