Psychotherapy at your Home

Hello everyone. I have posted before, but wanted to provide an update regarding the provision of psychotherapy, counseling or personal coaching services. I made it through the challenge of licensing in the US VI, and now am licensed both stateside and in the US VI for all services mentioned, including clinical consultation to organizations.

As there seems to be significant stigma regarding the receipt of these services, I have offered to provide these at individuals' homes. I am especially interested in serving those individuals who would have difficulty getting to a clinic to receive support in this area. As access continues to be a challenge, for those who have difficulty negotiating streets or driving, I would like to eliminate this problem.

Although my specialization is in neurobiological disorders and treatment (autism related disorders, head trauma, etc.) I am also a generalist. Over the past two decades, I have served people in learning to reduce the incidence of depression and/or anxiety, maintain life changes such as support for people who have made major changes such as the cessation of substance abuse, and am certified in multiple ways to do forensics work, including prevention in terms of teens and violent or counter-productive life behavior.

I am posting this prior to advertising as you have all been terrific net-workers in so many ways. I also only have 9 openings for people at this time, and wanted to share this with you first.

I also hope that I am not using this board inappropriately. I am not so much trying to advertise as to access people whom I might not otherwise be able to reach. In approximately, I will be joined by a clinical social worker and other professionals in the mental health/disability arena. At that time, we will have both outreach/at home services and an office. At this time however, it is just me and my capacity leaves room for only a few more people.
