I sell Hughesnet for what it is. Very reliable, reasonably fast for browsing internet. Starts at $59 a month. My personal system runs about 1.3m down and 300K up. Plenty for what I need and it ALWAYS works. Some people have no other option due to location or require a reliable redundant solution. I provide for that and they are generally very happy with the service. I do, by the way, disclose slower ping times etc so a customer knows what they are getting before committing. How many people on STX can say they have had internet without a long interuption for over 3700 days in a row?? I can! Heavy rain will momentarily drop the connection but it is usually very brief.

I also provide Dishnetwork which happens to be the absolute best TV offering in the VI. Period! I have hundreds of very happy customers on STX.

What have you contributed to people's quality of life here?
