If we were to plan on going to the islands for a month or two, would the first part of july be a bad Idea. From what i understand August is when you get the more intense weather. July is the earliest that we could go, but i don't want to minimalize my opportunities for housing and employement by going after august and september.
thank you Logan

July is a good time to find housing. But, depending what kind of work you might want, jobs may be scarce. Jobs is tourism/service are down in slow season. That's why it's important to have some $$$ to tide you over.

Hello Logan,

We only get intense weather if there is a tropical storm or hurricane heading at us - this doesn't happen every year. I don't think coming in late Sept or Oct would minimalize your employment options - I believe you said you were looking into automobile work. If you were looking for something in tourism then Aug-Sept is slow - so you would likely have more luck when the next season started picking up later in the year.
