Ladies & Gentlemen;
Most of us have probably already read about the unfortunate accident that befell Col. Mitchell. Ben Mitchell has been a friend and one time co-worker for over twelve years, and definitely one of the finest individuals that I have had the pleasure to know...
A Soldier of the VING who has served his country well in Afghanistan and Iraq, Ben suffered a serious accident during training.
Please extend your prayers for Ben and His Family for his speedy and successful recovery.

Thoughts and prayers with Col. Mitchell and his family. Thank you Colonel and all member of the Virgin Island National Guard for your continue service.
The colonel's injury only reinterates our service members are always in harm way while serving---even while training. The newspaper reporter Colonel Mitchell was shot in the back of his knee---------------------------------------OUCHHHHHHHHHH. Thank God for the quick medical treatment he received by what appears to be another member of the VI National Guard----paper indicated it probably saved his life.
You guys and girls are some of the best of the USVI, and we all appricate your service and commend you for your scarifices while serving in the guard.
Lastly, we thank the FAMILIES of all the VI Guradsman---we know the sacrifices you must make while your loved one serves our country----weekends without them, missed birthday parties and anniversities, months and years separated while the guardsman is deployed. etc....THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IN THE GUARD.

Thanks Tam, he's in trauma ICU and cannot recieve anything right now. We are hoping to have him home soon although he is getting the best care possible at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center...so to be honest as much as we want him home we like him there. I'll keep you up to date.

Thank you all for your prayers and deep compassion. I am recovering and slowly getting back on my feet by the grace of God and my lovely
wife, Griselle and twins Lil Ben and Gizelle. We all thank you again for your continued prayers and will see you in the future.

knew Ben from the Code 9 days we well. had dealings with him and his band. A great family.

Ben, since we heard of your unfortunate accident me and Nancy have been praying for a speedy recovery. Please give our love to Grisselle and the twins, we havent seen them since they were born. We are still in Atlanta and hope to you you guys soon.
