Finding a reputable contractor is not easy in the VI. Been there done that.

I would recommend that you try Pat Brannon. When we lived on STX, I had him do some construction and pool work for us. He was prompt, fair and did an outstanding job.

I'm not sure, really need to talk to someone about that, what's better for the area, etc.

We used a general contractor to build our pool. It is a concrete pool with all tile walls and bottom. Been swimming in it close to two years now. Contractor is Dave Follman. Phone number is 340-771-8426. We were very pleased with the entire project. Construction was on time and within budget. Were also very pleased with all of the subs including installation of pool equipment, electrical, excavating and tile work. There was a tremendous amount of deck work as part of the project but I did all of that work myself. If you want additional info please send me a PM. Jeff

Yeah, everybody knows Follman. Good guy. Can often be found at No Bones.

Years ago, I gave him a sizeable downpayment to redo my roof. But, then something came up and I no longer needed him to do my roof. I was a bit worried that I might have a tough time getting my money back, but Dave stopped by without my even having to ask him. He had my money in hand and was very cool about the whole thing. Says a lot about him.

Agree TOTALLY with "gonetropo"....Pat Brannon is the absolute BEST!!!He just finished our pool.....Prompt....professional....always communicating clearly what is being done,how it is is being done,etc.
